TERSANAS
Tersanas is a small village situated around Tersanas Bay, with wonderful views over the Bay of Chania, on the coast of the Akrotiri Peninsula.
It is 17 kilometers from the historic City of Chania and eight kilometers from Chania airport. The beach is ideal for families and has a snack bar, which is open early morning until late evening. It is a peaceful, quiet area ideal for bird watching or just relaxing and enjoying the scenery. Being protected, there are lots of wild birds and turtles here. Not commonly available in Crete, horse riding is available. Day to day shopping is available in the neighboring village of Horafakia.
